Risk factors:
There are several different risk factors associated with getting coronary heart disease. Over the last ten year CHD researchers have found children such as young as 10 developing causes of CHD due to the lack of exercise done daily, diet and because the percentage of overweight children.
There are controllable factors (listed below) but there are other causes such as genetics, age and gender that can’t be controlled.

- Diabetes and high fat diet
- High blood pressure
- Emotional stress and aggressiveness
- lack of exercise
- Unhealthy diet
These risk factors also create the chance that the remaining CHD (coronary heart disease) will become worse.
