SYMPTONS OF CHD
As for every medical disease there are various symptoms noticeable when receiving coronary heart disease.
The most common symptom is chest pain (angina), which is caused when there isn’t enough blood or oxygen entering the heart. The amount of pain coming from the chest is dependent on age, gender and physical status, but generally occurs with high amounts of activity of emotional stress. The pain isn’t just felt in the heart but also in the stomach, arms, neck and upper back
Women, elderly people, and people with diabetes are more likely to have symptoms other than chest pain, such as:
- Fatigue
- Shortness of breath
- Weakness
